2 PROCESSORS

I have an ML530 sever with just 1 processor installed. Would adding a 2nd processor provide any fault tolorance if the 1st processor fails or would the 2nd processor just provide more horse power to the server without any added redundency.

The 2nd processor would not add any Fault Tolerance , it would provide multi-processing w/o redundancy
