3C509 driver installation destroys the Server!

I have installed a 3c905 NC already installed on this machine and it is operational. I tried to install a second NC: an IA 3C509 on it as well to make it a multihomed server and it cashed the server and it was not possible to restore it through the normal quick fixes! The same result was produced each time we attempted to install both cards! Can you help?

Please make sure the BIOS has been flashed to the latest firmware. Use SP14126.
