Re: 3rd Party SSD for HPE Gen10 Servers
Can you elaborate, you only mention Gen10 servers.
But you not mention any specific model. e.g Proliant

Re: 3rd Party SSD for HPE Gen10 Servers
The first thing better to go with HPE SSD drives.
Please find the attached. Pg no 47
HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Server (QuickSpecs/a00008159enw.pdf)
Second 3rd party ssd supported but as my personal suggestion go with HPE SSD drives.

Not officially compatible and unsupported, but yes select retail drives are known to work OK.

Re: 3rd Party SSD for HPE Gen10 Servers
Hi,
Third party SSD's may or may not work,
It's advisable to use supported HPE SSD based on your workload.
Please refer the SSD selection guide below, it will help you to select best SSD based on your requirement.

Re: 3rd Party SSD for HPE Gen10 Servers
I've personally contributed several entries to that 3rd party drive list. My favorite is the Crucial MX series. Not the cheapest nor the fastest but good all-around drives that don't cause headaches.
