7142 Rack Door
I have several EOL'd 7142 Racks. We have no plans to "upgrade" to the 9000 Series just yet, but an odd thing happened the other day:
We have had, for some time, a fitting issue with this one door in particular, it would catch on the handle for our FC4100 arrays. It was a fairly simple thing to get past, just push the door slightly and it would close, we simply had to be careful. Well, one of my team closed the door too fast and it did not just catch, the post in the hinge at the top sheared clean off and fell to the floor. Now we have no way to close the door. I have looked through what documents I could find and have been unable to locate a replacement part number for a 7142 front door. We don't need the insert, at least not from what I have read of that part's description. We need either a new hinge or a whole new door. What can you tell me about this?
