802.3 AD for DL380 G7 and Broadcom BCM5709C
Hey Everyone,
Long time IBMer dealing with some Proliant server issues. I have a 380 G7 and it's got 8 NIC ports. I would like to setup link aggregation for my backup network. IBM used to have some packaged Broadcom Drivers/Utility suites that would help with Ling-Agg setup. Does HP have anything similar? I was looking at this page but nothing really jumped out at me.
Thanks in advance!

Re: 802.3 AD for DL380 G7 and Broadcom BCM5709C
Hi,
You need Broadcom Advanced Control Suite from Broadcom, I dont think HP has this at their site.
NC382i being a Broadcom adapter, please check the below link from Broadcom.
http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/management_applications.php
NC382i is BCM5709 and its NetXtreme II 1 Gigabit Server.
Thank You!

Hey, Just curious, were you able to link aggregate the NIC's with the broadcom drivers. I am looking into same kind of setup for the 2 backup servers as well. How many NIC's were you able to team togather?
