Abnormal Environmental Error

New server.
I choose the manual path.
Install Windows 2000 sp1.
Everything is fine.
I install Windows2000 Compaq Bundle for the ML370 and system reboots itself and upon reboot I get the error message,
"The system has experience an environmental abnormality" and will shut down in 60 seconds.

This happened after 2 successive installs. I am now foregoing the
cpqbundle for 2000, but really want to know the error to avoid future issues. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the Compaq Bundle you are referring to in the beginning of your message? Did you follow the Windows 2000 installation instructions that are in the Compaq Engineering white paper for Windows 2000 and Compaq servers at this web address?

The Compaq Bundle is the one listed for Windows2000 on the Compaq Download site for the ML370.

I went over the whitepaper. I have reinstalled the system and still receive this error when attempting to install the Compaq bundle from your website. (see downloads-ml370-Windows2000)
Please advise. I have read your whitepaper and have tried the manual install as it suggested. The Compaq Shutdown Service gets installed and I get the abnormal environmental error and the system reboots. WTF This is all new, all virgin equipment. Latest ROMPAQ, latest software from your website. Please advise.
