Access iLo 5 from a remote computer where the iLo server is stopped
Asa beginner with proliant servers I have an issue which I hope someone can help with. I have an ML350 Gen 10 device which I have installed server 2019 evaluation and also used the intelligent povisioinng to update all firmware etc. iLo 5 is configured witha fixed IPv4 addres and works extremely well when accessed from a machine on the same network.
I need to provide a facility for an administrator to connect to the iLo interface from a computer in another part of the world to actually access the server when the device is powered down wither by intent or accident. This is perfectly functional when the iLo ip is addressed from the same network but how to do it from an external system. I apologise for my inability but can someone assist.

Re: Access iLo 5 from a remote computer where the iLo server is stopped
Hi,
May be you need to configure Firewall and open some ports.
There are other posts which discuss the same issue.
