ACU expansion of Array "A"

I have a 6 x 146 GB array (data only, no OS on array) on an HP expansion box connected to an HP Proliant DL380 G3. The array has three partitioned basic disks and I added two more 146 GB drives and expanded the array with no problems. The new unallocated space showed up and I then extended Drive 1 with a portion of the unallocated space. Once the extension completed on Drive 1 I used the remainder of the unallocated space to extend Drive 3 which completed succesfully.

The OS is Windows 2000 server SP4 with all firmware updated. I can see the new extended drive sizes in ACU but only the old drive size in disk manager with no unallocated space to run diskpart.exe against. My only thought is that I may have to reboot the server because of Windows 2000 server OS. Am I on the right track or are there any other suggestions out there?
Thanks,
LT

Yes Larry, you are on the right track. The new disk size appears in disk manager once the server has been restarted. Then disk part can be ran against the drives and now you have larger drives! Since I recieved no responses I tried what I thought would solve my problem and it did. Hope this helps others that have this situation.
