ACU install issues

I was sure if this should go under storage or not. I am trying to get HP ACU installed on an inherited server at my workplace and everytime I try to install it I get failed install message that says:

"The installation procedure did not complete successfully.  An error occurred during the setup process.

You may look at the setup log file for more details if desired.

Additional Information:
 Unknown INF file type -- installation will not continue.

Press the 'Close' button to exit Setup."

Can't see anything in the setup log and  can't figure out how to get around this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Server: HP DL380 G5, P400 Smart Array
