Add new RAMs and Disks

Hello,

Actually we have a Proliant Gen10 server and we want to add some hardware ressources.

The server has 8 disk slots (4 are used) and 4 x 32 GB of RAM

We want to add a groupe of 4 x 2.4 TB of disk and 2 x 32 GB of RAM

Are there any criteria to consider before installing new resources? For example, the compatibility of existing RAM with the new modules, the correct number of RAM slots to use, or is it simply plug-and-play, and everything will work fine regardless of the model or capacity of the resources?

Thank you in advance

Hi @ENG-ab,

Could you please assist me with the details of the server, such as its model?

Hi @ENG-ab,
Please refer to the memory matrix for information about memory compatibility.
Refer to the Hard drive model number matrix for information about the option kit and spare part number.
