Add SCSI drives to Proliant 400 problem

I'm having difficulty adding drives to a PL400 server with win2000. I've got smartstart 7 and generated diskettes. These return with a message "this is for eisa not isa" I've tried different versions of smartstart but I'm unable to locate the version Support Software Bundle for Windows 2000 5.02a. Does anybody know where to find a copy of this or a workaround

Mike:

SmartStart 6.x and 7.x will not work on a PL400. You could use SmartStart 5.50 to configure this box.

If you do not have a 5.50 CD, you could use the diskette version:
Version 2.53 is the one listed for the PL400:

A newer version is 2.58:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/13227.html

Be sure that your bios is patched:

Enjoy!

If you need PSP 5.02A, click here:

PSP 7.10A is the latest and shows support for the PL400:

Enjoy!
