Add second CPU to ML330 G3
Hi,
I have seen conflicting advice regarding adding a second CPU to a server such as the ML330 G3.
I have a single 2.8ghz CPU currently and need to increase this to a dual CPU server. What is the best option for someone on a budget?
a. Install second CPU as long as the stepping, frequency etc. are the same
b. Get a matched pair of 604 socket 533mhz CPU's (was thinking eBay here)
c. ??
thanks for any help.

Re: Add second CPU to ML330 G3
Hi,
ML330 G3 Supported Processors:
- Intel Xeon 3.06GHz PGA
- Intel Xeon 2.80GHz PGA
- Intel Xeon 3.40GHz PGA
>> need to increase this to a dual CPU server
RE: If you would like to fully utilize this Server,
try to get 2 units of 3.06GHz CPUs from eBay

RE: Get 1 unit of 2.80GHz CPU
Thanks
