Adding External HD to ML 360 (non-scsi)
Anyone have experience with SATA controllers?
Tried to put a Promise card in this system, but won't boot to SCSI drives. (tried moving card to higher PCI slot, but got corrupted bios area message). Any help would be appreaciated.

Re: Adding External HD to ML 360 (non-scsi)
hi,
if you installed an additional ATA card, it will take highest priority to boot up. if it is possible, either disable the BIOS of ATA card, or set the boot controller order to SCSI in SCU/RBSU.
regards

Re: Adding External HD to ML 360 (non-scsi)
Thanks for the Reply, but this is the problems. I can't find an ide ata controller card that will let you turn off Int 13 or disable the bios. That is why I am asking if anyone has experience with SATA controllers. Do the SATA controllers have a Controllable Bios?
