Additional NIC Cards...
Im having troubles installing an additional 3-Com 905B NIC in the ProLiant. According to the BIOS, the card exists but NT cannot find the card. Are there any known issues with 3-Com cards or special Drivers required to run them on the Proliant? Can you suggest any ways to resolve this problem? I have two 3C-905B cards and a single 3C-905 NIC and none can be detected by NT under TCP/IP Adapters.
thanks

Re: Additional NIC Cards...
No special drivers and not particular issues with the system itself... Now, the 3C905 series has been an off and on again problem in general. Always seems to be less than "easy" to setup. I would not recommend using the 3C905 itself though as that one is a bit outdated - 3Com replaced it with the 905B to resolve the issues that they had with the 905 itself.
