Are 128MB BBWC modules of a SA640 and a 6i the same?

Are 128MB BBWC modules of a SA640 and a 6i the same?

Their part numbers are different but visibly the only difference appears to be the battery shape. Wondering if they are interchangeable.

no they are not

the one for &41 - 642 clearly says only for those controllers

128MB Battery Backed Write Cache (BBWC) - For Smart Array 641 Ultra320 Controller or Smart Array 642 Ultra320 Controller - Includes memory and battery
