Array expansion time for p800 controller

I have a DL365 G5 with a MSA60 array attached to it. The array is a RAID6 with a total of about 2TB of disk. I need to add another 750GB HDD and expand the array.

I found in the p800 user guide that it can take 15min per GB to expand. Is that based on the HDD size your adding to the array or is it based on the existing size of the array? 750GB*15min= ~8days (assuming I did the math right). I don't want to know what 2TB would be.

Any insight would be helpful.
