ATI driver problem

Made the mistake of using Windows Update to update the ATI graphics driver. Next reboot we get a blue screen. Booted to safe mode and removed the ATI install from Add/Remove programs but now are left with a resolution of 640x480, 16 colour and no alternatives.

Tried the driver from Win2K CD and ATI site - no joy. Can't seem to get one from SmartStart or Compaq site (it's Rage XL PCI).

Any ideas?

All help appreciated.

insert smartstart cd to ML370, run \cpqsupsw\ntcsp\setup.exe , upgrade driver you want, include VGA driver
