ATI IIC video driver.
I have been all through the old forum and have not seen a solution for the desk.cpl and non-configuration problem associated with dl380's and dl360's. I am wondering is compaq has addressed this issue as I have a couple machines with the same problem
Thanks,
Jeff.
Thanks,

Re: ATI IIC video driver.
desk.cpl is not for a Windows NT environment. This is only used with Windows 95 & 98. Download and install the latstest AIT Rage IIc video card driver from the Compaq SSD for NT 4.0 from this web address.
http://www5.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/9192.html
You then set the display properties to the resolution and number of colors you want. Make sure the video controller has enough video RAM to support the mode you are trying to use. You must use the test button, to allow the monitor to auto-sync to the output of the video card. If the test passes, the OS will set the video to the mode you selected.
If you can not set the video mode past 16 colors, the wrong video card driver was installed and NT defaulted back to the standard VGA 16 color driver.
