Automate HP proliant driver and firmware updates
I would like to hear real world examples of how firms are handling HP proliant firmware/driver updates on their servers. With the rate at which HP is releasing new drivers and firmware we really struggle to stay up to date using a manual deployment method.
I understand that if you have Microsoft SCCM 2007 you can integrate these updates directly into the windows patching process. We have SIM but find the version control features to not scale well at all to >10 server. We have in the region of 1000 servers to keep up to date.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: Automate HP proliant driver and firmware updates
Yes I'm aware of the SIM and version control options but they do not work very well with large numbers of servers as I indicated on my original post.
Is anyone aware of any other automated driver/firmware update options available from HP?
