B110i @ RAID-1 permanent top value 1.00 / heavy load

Greetings from Germany!

We have a serious Problem with our ML150 G6 Servers which are equipped with the B110i Software-RAID-Controller. We are using the Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 (2.6.32.12-0.7-pae).

If we install the driver correctly the top value stays at 1.00 even if the system is completly idle? Also the HDD LED is permanently illuminated?

The System has all the latest BIOS/Firmware Updates that we can get. We have also tried multiple drivers for the b110i - starting with the newest!


I now get to the point to say "HP has nothing to do with Linux!" - Am i right? Or has anybody any idea?
