B110i Raid - cant extend/expand logical drive after new drives added. ML150G6 SBS2008

Hi All

I have just replaced 2*1tb with 2*2tb HDD in a raid 1 allowing the array to rebuild after each hdd was replaced.  Rebuilds were successful and I now have 2*2tb installed but only 1tb available in the RAID logical volume.

ACU at boot time or online in SBS (ACU v9.10.22.0) have no options to extend or expand the array to use the additional 1tb of space, although they both report the drive size correctly as 2tb and that there is free space of 50%.

Windows only shows the 1tb of space with no option to expand the volume (or create a new one)

My only available options in the wizards are to delete the array.

Any ideas?

I dont want to delete/recreate the array as I dont want the server offline for the 40hours to create the array again.

hi,

What's your controller? Please keep in mind, that you need a smart array controller with BBWC and cache to expand/extend array.

Thanks

hi,

Sorry, i saw now that you have b110i.  I'm not sure, but I think , that this controller do not support expand/extend array.
