Backing up an SD card on DL360p

Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I tried searching for this information but was unable to find any so if this has already been covered, I apologize.

My above mentioned server boots VMWare ESXi 5.5 from a 32G SD card. I would like to have a backup/copy SD card in the event that the current one gets damaged or wiped out, etc. Does anyone know the correct procedure to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rusty

the dual SD USB media kit provides a mirrored pair of SD cards.

Hope this helps!

Re: Backing up an SD card on DL360p

Torsten, I appreciate your reply. The SD card already has the VMWare ESXi operating system with correct drivers and network specifics loaded and I'm looking for a way to copy it so that I would have a backup. I don't know the best way to do that. Do I shut the server down and put it into a reader and use some kind of cloning software, is there software that HP has or uses or recommends that will copy it while it's in the system so I don't have to shut it down to remove the card, etc. So, I'm looking for a way (hopefully the least intrusive) to copy what's already on it.

Thanks,

Rusty
