Backup Problems

We run Netware 6.5 sp6 on an ML350 G5 with an Ultrium 448 tape drive using Backup Exec. When we run a job, it does not complete and the receive and error message that say Job did not complete (2-4623). Can someone help us with this problem?

hi

try with diffrent media

check scsi cabling , termination

Hello,

Which version of Backup Exec are you using ? Seems like many are running into this issue.

Have you tested the U448 to be functioning ok ?

Also,HP recommends purchasing the HP SC44Ge HBA (416096-B21) for a dedicated SAS HBA for tape.

Do you have this SETUP ?
