Backup

I recently replaced the backup dlt drive which was a 15/30 with a 35/70. I set the SCSI ID to that of the old drive and the drive is recognized properly and does function. The problem is the speed at which it functions. With the 15/30 I sustained backup speeds of 50-60 meg a minute. With the new drive the best I get is about 15 megs a minute. Has anyone seen this before and been able identify and resolve this problem?? Please advise.

Try updating the SCSI device drivers , also apply any patches to the backup software being used .
