How can I know when the battery cache was made? is another report instead of the ADU report?

Re: Battery cache

Hello @steffany,

Thank you for posting.

Could you please let us know which HPE Product you are referring to? So we can move to the right board.

Re: Battery cache

Hi,

the serial number contains a date code that can be used to identify the battery assembly's manufacturing date.
The digits of interest are the fourth through seventh from the right.
In the serial number, these digits ...YYWWXXX indicate the manufacturing information.

YY – year
WW – week
XXX – three digit sequential number not relevant

Example: CNS0712093 was manufactured in the 12th week of 2007.

Re: Battery cache

OK, you are in the EVA Storage Forum and should be in ProLiant Servers.
However, the P420i has a Capacitor pack and not a Battery.

It should be this one: 660093-001
