Best Practices to manage multiple ProLiant servers?

We're just starting to look into the options for central management of our multiple ProLiant servers, having previously configured and managed iLO one at a time. We got an instance of iLO Amplifier running and have connected all the servers to it, as well as connected the iLO Amp to HPE InfoSight. Still there seems to be a sea of options when configuring multiple iLO card, such as setting up an iLO Federation, service accounts, individual AlertMail, etc. Is there a guide on the modern way to configure all this? It would also be nice to have a settings template that I can push out to new iLO instances/servers.

Hi,

check out OneView here: HPE OneView IT Infrastructure Management Software - IT Automation | HPE

Without a License, (Free Software) you can Monitor all Servers and now even Update with SPP, just a VM as iLO Amplifier.

With a Server License, you are also able to configure UEFI/Raid Settings.

All iLO-5 servers are also able to connect directly to "HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management", after installing the latest iLO Firmware. HPE GreenLake Compute Ops Management | HPE

With COM you are able to Monitor, Manage, and Update (and a lot more is in the pipe) all your Servers from HPE Cloud-based everywhere.

This is the "New Way of Server Operating", there is a 90 Day Free Trial.

It needs also a server License but is not expensive.
