best way to install novell small business 6.5 on proliant 5500

hello,
subject line says it all.
I tried to do this, but not long after install it gets errors that it can't see the CDROM.
I've downloaded the PSP files, it says to install the PSP files in the c:\NWUPDATE directory after the disk gets formatted and the directory created, but before netware starts device detection.
So, has anyone done this?
I'd like to get some pointers before I start spending time with this thing.
