(Bios / Firmware / SPP) update should be in order??

Hi guys.

I am going to update my DL380 Gen 9 server and I was wondering that if I have to update the bios, firmware, etc. in order (like first 1.2 then go 1.3 then 1.4 and goes..) or just updating it to the latest version should do the job?

Hello Sohrab,

If the servers firmware versions are way too outdate like 5 to 6 versions below that its highly recommended to do a an incremental updates or if the server is just 2 or 3 versions below you can directly update to the latest one.
