BIOS/Hardware Health Failed
I have a new Server DL360p Gen 8, in the box, that was kept in stock for 8 years.
Server has never been used.
I decided to use and when connecting this with the error:
BIOS/Hardware Health Failed
The impression I have is that all the firmware has zeroed.
Any chance to reload the firmware without the machine booting to POST?

Re: BIOS/Hardware Health Failed
Greetings!
Please check the alerts on Systems Insight Display (SID) LEDs
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c03245333
If there are no fault LEDs on the SID, you may clear the NVRAM using S6 switch on the System maintenance switch on the system board.
Page#79 https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c03242811
To understand the location of the switch on the system board refer page#78.
If the issue persists the server can be tested in minimum hardware configuration (only if you are comfortable in doing so) or the server can be carried to a service center.
And if the server doesn't POST, I doubt offline firmware upgrade process would work.

Re: BIOS/Hardware Health Failed
I did all the suggested procedures and I still have the same error. Could you send me the firmware offline installation procedure to test?

Re: BIOS/Hardware Health Failed
Greetings!
Offline updates can be done by booting in to Gen8.1 SPP (Service Pack for ProLiant) ISO.
Active warranty/contract is required to download this.
