BL20p G3 erroneously reporting failed power supply

I have a Blade that was just setup running Windows 2000 Server. The error in the event log is: Event ID 1171 Source: Server Agents

The rack power subsystem is no longer in a redundant state.
User Action: Replace any failed power supplies as soon as possible to return the system to a redundant state.
Rack Name: 'XXXX'; Rack Unique ID: 'XXXXXXXXXX '; Enclosure Name ''; Enclosure Serial Number 'XXXXXXXX '; Trap Sequence Number '35'
[SNMP TRAP: 22018 in CPQRACK.MIB]

An identical server with the same build in the next slot does not report this error. I cleared the error and it returned.

Anybody have a clue?

Hi,

I have same problem in my blade enclosures. Present condition is I am using 1U power supply with BL20P G3 blades.

did you find any resolution?.
Please share with me.

Check the firmware for your blade enclosure and 1U power supply. They should be at the same level to give correct values. I seem to remeber that I got similiar problems when the enclosure had firmware 2.10 and power 2.20.

also Newer Firmware for Management Modules is 2.30 Update that too
