BL25p AMD Opteron & Multiprocessor Support in W2K3 SP1
My customer has installed W2K3 SP1 on HP BL25p 2.2Ghz-1M DC 2G 2P but in task manager he could see only one processor altough two dual core amd procesors are present. At POST screen, and in RBSU physical CPUs are seen without a problem.
If he wants to change the HAL option from "Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC" to "ACPI Multiprocessor PC" during driver update, only two option provided during manual update namely "Standard PC" and "Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC".
Does anyone has any suggestions how to overcome this issue? thanks everyone being patient to read this.
