the e5 26xx v2 processor is not working because I have a system ROM download block from 03.11.2012, I do not understand how to upgrade it to 2013?

Re: BL460c Gen 8 ROM Bootblock update
Hi Dufa,
As this is a Blade server, if the Server ILO is accessible from the Onboard Administrator, then you can probably update the ".Bin" BIOS firmware file in the Firmware update in the ILO.
Firmware link : https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/swd/detail?swItemId=MTX_7ce62a0de1d145c19198023a97
Download the .EXE file and extract to a folder so the BIN File would be accessiable.
BIOS .bin File Update via iLO (Web Interface)
1. Access iLO Web Interface
-
Open browser тЖТ go to:
https://<iLO-IP>
-
Login with admin credentials
2. Navigate to Firmware Upload
-
Go to Administration тЖТ Firmware
3. Upload the BIOS .bin File
-
Click Browse тЖТ Select the
.bin
BIOS file (e.g.,CPxxxxxx.bin
) -
Click Upload
(iLO will validate the file)
4. Start the Update
-
After validation, click Flash or Update
-
Wait for the update to complete
Do not interrupt the process
5. Reboot the Server
-
Go to Power Management тЖТ Reboot the server
-
BIOS update will apply during the next POST
