We encounter a strange problem on our DL380 G3 Server. It automatically restart and found out on the IML "Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x00000A07, 0x00000000, 0x00000A07))" error. We've just installed an additional memory on the machine and it runs normally for 12 hours then after that the machine shutdown itself,we suspected that the newly installed memory causes the issue. What may be the best tool to use in order to detect the cause/s of the issue? or what is the possible cause of this issue?
Hoping for your kind Help..

SolutionHi Jason,
It sounds like you already figured the problem out.
In general this 0X0000001E error occer when there are bad pointers, invalid addresses and other types of access violations occured in the syte. According to you problem presentation it seems that the new memory stick is not getting along with this system
1. Is this Memory an HP Memory? if it is not there is no doubt that the problem is that newly added memory so get rid of it
2. If it is an HP Memory make sure if it is a memory that is supported in this server (which should be a PC2100 Registered DDR SDRAM DIMM Memory) and reseat the memory sticks and try
3. Make sure you add memory in pairs (You can not add only one stick--it should be added symetrically)
For reference have a look at these documentations

Can you just leave the supicious new memmory just for I while out the server, does the problem now occur?
Have you updated to the latest PSP ?
It could be a driver problem also reffering to microsoft.

We're facing the sme kind of issue with a DL380 G5 which reboots randomly.
Actually swapping the memory modules with another (stable) identical server.
Did you find a solution for yours ?
