Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x85C4FD88, 0x85C4FEEC, 0x80967BBC))
First time post here. Hope you can help?
I'm getting a regular bug check on a dl380 G4.
Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x85C4FD88, 0x85C4FEEC, 0x80967BBC))
The server never stays up for more than 24 hours. It's got a SmartArray 6400 controller in, running RAID5. OS is Win2k3.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Unfortunatley, she's out of warranty...:-(

Thanks for the reply. I checked out that KB. The server is patched to SP2 already so it didn't help.
Have you any other suggestions?
Greg

Check this one :

I know you are not using SSCD7.4 now... but have a look at the Scope & resolution.

Please have a look at the attached document. I noticed that two of the associated paramaeters from your stop code, 0x00000003 and 0x80967BBC were the same as in this advisory however I'm not sure that this is significant.
Try the patch for the storport driver as suggested to see if things remain stable with it disabled.
I hope this helps,
Brian

I removed the battery backed cache from the controller - 274779-001 - after reading the scope and resolution James suggested. It hasn't rebooted since so fingers crossed.
