The server is an ML370 G3 ROM 2003.01.08
with ILO ROM 1.20a. The server fails to boot and halts just after the ILO F8 prompt when an Hayes USB ISDN TA is attached to the USB port of the server. If the USB TA is disconnected and the server restarted the boot process is successful.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
Thanks in advance

SolutionHave you seen this link regarding USB support on the Proliants?
Have you tried a different USB device to see if the POST completes?

Re: Boot halts after ILO F8 prompt with USB ISDN TA attached
I haven't tried any other USB devices yet, I will be better off switching to a serial TA instead.
Thank's again.

Re: Boot halts after ILO F8 prompt with USB ISDN TA attached
I have a modem attached to USB port also, a Zyxel 56k plus. I have no trouble booting, but i can however not get the driver installed for it.
