boot problems
Our customer has Prosignia 200 server with NT 4.0 TSE SP5 on it. The system uses the default ultra wide symbios controller with two 4GB SCSI HDD software mirrored under the OS. It is slow and it needs more capacity.
Therefore we decided to use hardware RAID1 - Adaptec 2100S with 18GB HDD. The problem is that we cannot boot from it in Prosignia 200. Maybe it is due to the fact, that Prosignia 200 uses CFG files for configuration the PCI cards. Adaptec does not have any CFG file for its ?AID controllers (2100S). You as the manufacturer of the server should have provided either a generic configuration file which can be modified or the ability to create a generic configuration file, that allows the BIOS of the Prosignia to configure the RAID controller (Adaptec 2100S) as a bootable device. Please help us, it is very urgent!!!!!!
