Re: Brooktrout TR1034 Fax Card in DL380/G3
Hi,
I have the following details with me
DL580/G2---------------------------------
Expansion Slots 6 - Total PCI I/O slots consisting of:
* 4 - 64-bit/100-MHz PCI-X Hot Plug, slots 3, 4, 5 and 6 available.
* 2 - 64-bit/100-MHz PCI-X Non-Hot Plug, slot 1 available, (NIC in slot 2)
* All slots support 3.3 Volt or Universal (3.3/5.0V) cards only
DL 380 G3---------------------------------------
Slot 1 PCI-X Bus 1 133 MHz 1.066GB/s 64-bit PCI-X (3.3V), non hot-plug
Slot 2 PCI-X Bus 2 100 MHz 800 MB/s 64-bit PCI-X (3.3V), hot-plug
Slot 3 PCI-X Bus 2 100 MHz 800 MB/s 64-bit PCI-X (3.3V), hot-plug
So, only feature which differes is this
All slots support 3.3 Volt or Universal (3.3/5.0V) cards only
I think i am helping you, but i thought i must update you that depends upon compatibility of card with server.
Regards,
Prashant S.

Re: Brooktrout TR1034 Fax Card in DL380/G3
You need to have OpenText software like RightFax Server in order to detect the hardware. There is no driver for it other than the one embedded in such software. Every RightFax Server installation is hardware specific so the model matters.
