Good morning,
I'm asking for your help because I've been struggling for some time.
I have 2 Proliant DL360 Gen10 servers with 1 dl20 gen 10 server.
the 3 servers are under esxi 8.0.2 with HP 480GB and 960GB disks normally Vsan compatible.
I would like to create a Vsan but each time there are disks that the Vsan does not claim are supposedly incompatible. therefore impossible to select a cache disk and the others for the vsandatastore etc....
settings implemented:
2 DL360 Gen10 servers:
1x 256gb disk for esxi
1x 480 GB disk and 1x 960 GB disk.
Dl20 Gen10:
1x disk of 256 GB for ESXI
1x 480 GB disk and 1x 960 GB disk.
the disks of 256Go where there is esxi are not Vsan compatible but it is only for ESXI.
480 GB and 960 GB disks compatible with Vsan but it does not claim. (Hpe disk)
I even tested this disk configuration on a DL360 G10 server:
1x 480 GB disk and 2x 960 GB disks.
result: it asks for a 960GB disk but not the second one...
frankly I don't understand.
Thank you for your help.

Re: BUILD A VSAN
Hi supportgalis,
I have least knowledge about vSAN. Please try to get teh compatiblity of Dl server with vSAN. Refer this link.
I assume, the vSAN is not suppoted on DL20Gen10 and Dl360 Gen 10 servers.
Regards,
Shiva_JR
