dl360 gen9 장비를 운용중입니다.

현재 cache battery가 너무 자주 fail되는데 1년에 3번 fail이 발생되어 모두 교체하였습니다.

그런대 이번에 또 fail이 발생하였는데

현재 firmware update는 불가능하고 cache battery 교체만 가능합니다

혹시 이럴경우에 array controller도 교체해보는게 좋을까요? 아니면 firmware update를 꼭 진행해야될까요??

Do you have the Cache battery part number that you replace frequently.
its a good idea to update the firmware of the array controller and iLO.

BIOS Firmware version is P89 2017-10-25

and i used the Part Number 878643-001

Hi,

The battery part 878643-001 is fine but what about the Smart Array model and firmware on it.
For example, if you are using P440ar controller, please see what issues related to cache and battery are fixed in the firmware.
