Can I Impliment RAID5 on basic ML150 G2 SATA controller?
ML150 G2 with basic 4 port SATA RAID controller, 3 x 80GIG Hot Plug SATA drives:
i want to implement RAID5 but the raid confuration utilitly only allows me to select RAID 0, 1.
Do I need to get a new controller, or does it want to see 4 drives (1 hot spare)?

Re: Can I Impliment RAID5 on basic ML150 G2 SATA controller?
Alex,
3 drives definitely enough for RAID-5,
4 port SATA RAID controller support only RAID-1 or RAID-0 (and I think if you use RAID-1 you can use only two drives with 4 port SATA RAID controller)
You need to buy 6-port SATA RAID controller to RAID-5 support (HP 6-Port SATA RAID Controller 372953-B21)
