Can't Boot to Load Operating System
I have a Compaq ProLiant server that states on the sticker that it is from the 3155 series. Nowhere can I find information regarding a model 3155. Is it part of the 3000 series? The Compaq website does not recognize my Serial Number. It has five hot-swappable 1.0gb SCSI F/W-2 harddrives, a removable tape drive, a CD-ROM drive of undetermined speed, et cetera.
When I attempt to boot up the system, I can run Quick Diagnostics with no problem. Whenever I try to use the "run" or "drive partition" hotkeys, I get a message that there is a "Non-System Disk or Disk Error." I have left all drives in with tapes or disks loaded, removed all drives and tape/disk media, even unplugged the CD-ROM, tape, and floppy disk drives. What could be causing this, and how may I correct it?

Re: Can't Boot to Load Operating System
Your Server is a PROLIANT 1500/R 5/133 . You need to run the System Configuration Utility , make certain the SCSI Controller with the drives attached is configured as " CONTROLLER ORDER FIRST " .
