Can't configure B120i RAID Controller or boot into SSA
I've had an ML10 V2 running for a few years now, and was using an Intel SSD 535 260GB as the boot disk. Suddenly my CentOS 8 server started to freeze over night. After the 3rd night, nothing can get back up.
Trying to install a new SSD drive but I can't get to load the HP SSA Offline tool. It boots up from ISO through HTML5 remote control, gets the three options, select option 1 (auto) and then I get the white HP Flash screen, and from there it hangs. No getting through to screens that I remember in the past, where I could indeed create a Volume 1 to boot from. ANy suggestion how to get into HP SSA?
I am not using the onboard RAID capabilities, have it in SATA mode, and use CentOS 8 mdadm software raid for my /dev/sd[a-d] disks. The SSD boot disk was sde. I'm starting to feel something is wrong with the motherboard B120i controller? Anyway of using this system and booting while bypassing the controller completely?
