Can't get SPP to boot in any way on DL380G9

Hi.

I'm wasting hours to try to upgrade firmware on a DL380 G9. I can't get the SPP to boot in any way. I got some free SPP (2019.03.2 version) from HPE website but it won't work. Neither as usbkey made with HPE utility nor as 'normal' (With Balena Etcher or similar tools) made USB ISO key or ILO virtual media.

- Booting the 2019 SPP made with usbkey results in a grub command line

- Booting the 2019 SPP through ILO virtual media results in a grub command line

- Booting the 2019 SPP through ventoy at least starts booting but eventually results in "failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper" and i'm thrown into a rescue shell

What do i need to do?

I have no support contracts because i'm a hobbyist, so i don't have access to anything other than free SPPs

   You can also access the SPP and update the system firmware. You can refer this document for SPP update using Windows OS.
   Refer this HPE document for more light on online and offline firmware update using SPP.
