Can't initialize SCSI When cold boot.
When I was installed SCO with compaq smartstart when finished. I turn off server along time when I power on again during operating initialized SCSI controller I got alert message "Warning: cha:host adapter number ha=-1 out of range (0-7) slot=3
This controller could not be enabled"
Only way I'm restart again during server POST and display message "Default Server feature card configure installed!". I press F1 to save change. After every initialized normally. And I shut down SCO, power off when I power on again it's become initialize abmornally. Sir,

Re: Can't initialize SCSI When cold boot.
The booting OS can not determine the SCSI ID of the SCSI controller. Verify that the SCSI ID in the system BIOS is set to an ID of 7. Also make sure the CMOS battery is good, and you are not loosing the BIOS configuration when you power off the system. If the SCSI ID of the SCSI controlller is not showing to be 7, replace the SCSI controller under your Compaq warranty.
