Hello,

The error in the screenshot seems to indicate it may not be able to read the ISO mounted in the iLO virtual media. I have seen some timeout issues sometimes when using the HTML5 console for the virtual media. Do you have a web server you can host the image on then mount the the ISO there? If so, it would be good to try this by going into the iLO and selecting to insert it under the "Remote Console & Media -> Virtual Media" section.

@thutchings

Hello!
Thank you for your response.

I tried to do as you said, but I don’t understand why I have to enter the url and where to put it, I don’t understand either, because I have to install the OS through the .iso file. Also, in addition to this, I decided to try installing another version of ubuntu (23.04) via virtual media wired into the remote console HTML (CD / DVD -> Local * .iso file) After that, I got a download window, then I tried to install ubuntu and then it came out window with ubuntu and HP, however, this window stopped showing and now I just have a black screen in the console. What to do?

I will provide screenshots below.

Hello,

I've pasted a screenshot below from a lab system where I mounted an Ubuntu iso hosted on a web server.

You can see the area where I entered the URL under the virtual CD/DVD section.

Remote_console.JPG

The problem you are seeing may be related to latency in the environment where the ISO is mounted from. This can potentially be impacting the ability of the HTML5 console to be able to correctly present the ISO. You would also try the java or .net console, but there are some limitations associated with each.
