Can't upgrade firmware
Hello,
I am having a problem pushing the firmware image to the system partition. When I try, it says (paraphrasing) that this model is incorrect for the firmware image. I tried this both through SPUU and Remotely deploying with the same results. As far as I can see, there is only one image for the 2500 (E50). I haven't tried flashing from floppy, but I'm pretty sure I'd get the same result (and would like to keep the down time limited). Has anyone seen this issue and know a work around/solution? Thanks!

Re: Can't upgrade firmware
IF you do have the right firmware and be very sure that you do ( you can tell whether yours is e50 or not at boot right beside the rombios date ) then you can locate the 6 bank dip switch on the system board..with the power off turn on switches 1,4,5,6 then put the rom floppy in the drive and boot..you will not see anything..this is called an emergency rom flash..give it five minutes and then take floppy out shut system down..put switches back and boot
