Can this server run at SCSI Ultra3 speeds?
I have just purchased a Smart Array 431 controller and SCSI Ultra3 hot swap drives. Before I order the Ultra3 SCSI upgrade cable kit (166389-B21), I would like to know whether the Ultra2 cage will support Ultra3 speeds? If not, is the included SCSI cable that was attached to the internal SCSI Wide controller capable of attaching to the 431 controller to run at Ultra2 speeds, or is there a separate cable for that?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Can this server run at SCSI Ultra3 speeds?
You will need the cable (166389-B21). You will have no problems doing what you ask. the Ultra2 cage will support U3 drives. If you can give me the part number off the internal cable I can give you the specs.
