Can we fit a full-height internal Tape driver into a 580G5?
refer to the Worldwide Specs of ProLiant 580G5,
"Additional options - HP Tape Backups
HP StorageWorks LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 SAS Internal Tape Drive EH861A"
"Storage -Tape and disk backup
Position Supported
LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 Internal or External"
the local 800 pre-sales hotline also told me that I can install a internal 1840 sas tape driver in a 580G5 server,
however, I found out some inconsistency:
1. EH861A is SAS 1840 EXTERNAL tape driver, but not internal one.
2. there is only a half-height tape bay on the 580G5 front panel, where could I install a full-height internal 1840 tape driver?
Could anyone plz help?
