Cannot find Hard Drives
Hi,
I press F6 when I boot from NT4 server in the installation process in order to specify the driver for my Internal Array Controller.
I continue the installation process but NT tells me that it cannot find any hard drive.
My array is well configured and I can see the initialization when the server boots.
I tried installing Win2K Professional and had no problem.
I know it's a question of drivers. It seems to me that I have installed all required drivers.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Cannot find Hard Drives
Hello,
I had the same problem.
You must reboot your server with the cd windows nt. Just when the installation is starting you must push the f6 key again and again and again, and jut after the pilot for pcmcia is loaded you must have the screen to specify a new pilot. Insert your floppy 2 from compaq support for nt and choose the 42xx/43xx pilot.
This must resolved your problem.
Regards.
L. PASCAL.

Re: Cannot find Hard Drives
But - remember to "SKIP" detection on mass storage. This is what allows you to specify the correct FIRST controller (it does matter which is loaded first). Then, don't forget to specify the Atapi driver for the secondary controller.
