Cannot power up

I am unable to power up a Compaq ML570 server... I have power leads in the back of the server and the green lights are flashing... however at the front of the server, the actual power switch (on/off button) does not allow me to power on the server and there are no lights at all on the front panel.

i can see that no one replied to this thread but did you get a fix by any chance as I appear to be in the same position

If you have a look at the cables inside the server.... once we had removed some of the components inside the serve, we could see one of the cables had come away from the motheboard... put it back in, and the server powered up... Hope this helps.
